Good to know
Warm Water, Technical Rapids
By late summer the Rogue drops into lower, warm, highly technical rapids that reward a good line. On the Salmon, lower water opens up wide sandy beaches for camp. It's a great month for families and for anyone who likes to swim.
Late in the month, our Briggs Rogue River 4-Day Wild and Scenic Fishing Trip begins, with every night ending at a lodge.
Days are hot, so bring sun protection and plenty of water. Evenings in the canyon cool off fast once the sun drops, so pack a light layer too.
