INSIDER TIP
From Our Guides
Your guide calls you before the trip to set the plan, so tell them what you want to fish for and how you like to fish. They pick the stretch from there based on the season and the conditions.
A warm thermos with a hot drink is a great addition on a cool morning.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes. Bring a current Oregon fishing license with a salmon and steelhead tag, and buy it before your trip.
Can I bring my own fishing gear?
You are welcome to, and fly fishing is welcome the whole way or not at all. If you would rather travel light, your guide has rigged gear ready for you.
Can someone who does not fish come along?
Absolutely. Novice anglers and non-anglers are welcome, and the canyon trip is a great fit for a mixed group.
Can I go fishing on the Rogue in the summer?
Our fishing season runs August 15 to April 15. We get a lot of calls for summer fishing, but the run is not there until August, so we do not run day fishing trips in the summer. If you are here in summer, try one of our rafting trips instead.
